This information will only be collected for the purpose of the project and will not be shared with any outside party. Only your first initial and last name will be displayed with your story and photo.
A selection of objects will be included in the finished artwork. A legend will be provided indicating to whom it belongs, and its story.
Some examples of personal objects that may be used in the artwork include:
- Objects found on a table - a cup, teapot, candle holder, vase, clock, decorations, computer, etc.
- Objects found on a shelf - a toy, doll, globe, sculpture, vase, plant, souvenirs, awards/trophies, etc.
- Furniture objects - a special chair (include the shape of chair back), dining/bedside/side table (include the shape of table legs), lamps, etc.
Taking your photo
You will want to move your object in front of a white background in a brightly lit space, for example a blank wall, or place white paper or cloth behind the object. Try to avoid strong shadows. Take a photo of your object straight on or in side view, so that the outline of its shape is clear.
